Love Letters from the Good Life

/ April 17, 2020

107 North Bellaire Avenue, Clifton

Charming shotgun style home off of Louisville’s Frankfort Avenue offers quiet sanctuary in the midst of one of our city’s most walkable and bustling neighborhoods! Located on a quiet, dead-end street situated happily between Volare Italian Restaurant and The Silver Dollar, this sweet one bedroom home holds a host of possibilities for it’s new owner. Soaring ceilings and period-appropriate, original exterior woodwork join hands with all the modern conveniences of today’s homes.

Original fireplace in the living room is a lovely focal point, while the large walk-in closet in the bedroom provides plenty of storage. Spacious eat-in kitchen is open to a bright, full bathroom and sunny laundry/utility room.  Also accessible here, a den on the rear of the home, which has happily provided extra sleeping space in the past. With a comfortable patio, low-maintenance yard, and walkability to some of the city’s most popular spots, 107 North Bellaire is a fantastic spot for a first time homeowner, minimalist-living couples, or can serve as an in-city escape for long weekends and guests.

Maybe it’s due to an overactive mind, a desire to feel like I’m influencing someone, or perhaps, it’s simply that I need to talk.

Wishing you the most beautiful Christmas. This yea Wishing you the most beautiful Christmas. This year hasn’t been the easiest on anyone, and the holidays may be difficult. I hope you find the light this season, and that even if Christmas Day is spent alone, I hope that the quiet and the snow, the light of the tree and the music on the radio provide a heart full of love.

Covid), I still wanted to throw some inspiration out there. This is my favorite Thanksgiving tablescape from 2017. This table is on the blog now! Cheers, y’all.

So hard to believe our gorgeous home is on the mar So hard to believe our gorgeous home is on the market... so many years here, and so many changes in our lives. This house has seen the loss of both our dogs, both my parents. We celebrated our engagement here, came home happy and silly after a Christmas elopement. Thanksgiving here has been full of Bourbon and friends and Trivial Pursuit. This has been my happy place for the better part of a decade.

Going to sleep tonight in hopes of the right buyer who will love these walls as much as we have 💕
