I’m sure most women work this way: If I have long hair, I’m dreaming of short. If I buy a blue dress, I wish I have bought it in black. When I’m tan, I’d like fair skin. When my old house was shades of blue everywhere, I wanted this one to be dark, neutral and dramatic. It’s the grass is always greener theory, though, now, I’m dreaming of houses that are white, bright, and beautiful.

While I’m in no way thinking about or wanting to redo the entire house in this creamy palette (mostly because we aren’t even finished with its current facelift), I do find myself wondering if more ethereal looks in fashion, beauty, and florals will hold me over.
